Great leaders don’t tell you what to do they show how it is done
investiture ceremony is not just a formal induction, it is a celebration of
trust, responsibility and the promise of leadership. The remarkable
oath taking ceremony was headed by Mr. Karthikeyan, the Manager of
City Union Bank in the presence of our Rev. Bro. Principal.
The ceremony was commenced with lighting of the lamp followed by
welcome address and felicitation. The highlight was badge pinning
event for the newly elected SPLS, ASPLS, Four House Captains and their
assistants, class captains and vice captains and club captains.
Language is not just a means of communication, it is the mirror of our culture, thoughts and identity.
The secretary of Manavai Tamil Sangam and Retired VAO, Mr. Navamani Sundaram graced as the Chief Guest of Tamil Literary Club inauguration and educational development day. The Chief guest addressed the students with his fluent poetic versions and also shared the achievements of Perunthalaivar K. Kamaraj. The participants of cultural events and Tamil teachers were appreciated and praised by the Chief Guest.
Great literature is simply language charged with meaning to the utmost possible degree. The successful inaugural of English Literary Club marked a significant stride towards cultivating a passion for literature among the students. The event was graced in the presence of our Rev. Bro. Principal, Mr. A. Sesuraj Dhiraviyam, M.A., B.Ed., M.Phil., P.G.,Asst., in English from National College Hr. sec. school, Trichy as a chief guest. Mr. V. K. Justin acted as a guest of honour.
A diverse array of students performed programs fascinated the audience. The key role address by the chief guest underscored the pivotal role of English in shaping the students and enriching their communication skill.
This institution has enhanced its facilities in corporating advanced systems with high speed internet access in the computer lab. We also have well equipped physics, chemistry and biology laboratories. Utilizing digital panel technology educational spaces have been converted into smart class room. For students wellbeing 360 degree cameras have been installed in every class rooms. By integrating technology into daily operation, students’ academic performance is now published digitally through E-Rank cards.
Hard word beats talent when talent does not work hard. The annual sports day of our school was a spectacular celebration of athleticism, team work and house spirit.
Earlier we had intra-house sports namely Gabspo, Johnspo, Monspo & Xavizon in four week ends. Each house competed among themselves to select the finalist for the mega event.
The sports day kicked off with the opening ceremony traditional March Past where students showed discipline, uniformity and team work. Students exhibited their athletic power in 100 m, 200m, 800m track events, long jump, discus and javelin. The energy was electric among the athletes and in the spectators as our students sprinted for 4 x 100 m relays. The day concluded with the prize distribution ceremony presided over by the chief guest Dr. Prabakaran Tamilselvan, MBBS., Namakkal gave an inspirational speech on importance of sports. We also had Mr. Balasubramanian, Miss. Rajeshwari and Mr. Tamilselvan as our special invitees.

We are proud to inform you that we produced centum results in X, XI and XII Standard Board exams.
In standard XII, Selina D, secured school first with 585/600 and a centum in Maths.
Second place was sealed by Dharshan R with 580/600 and also a centum in Maths.
Selvi Nettee Clarisha L achieved school third with 577/600.
Selvi Merlin Diana secured centum in Chemistry.
Newlin Daniel secured 568/600 and stood school first in standard XI, Sonja Jemima V got second place with 564/600 and Kanimozhi K achieved third place with 542/600.
Our X Standard students obtained very good result in SSLC board exam.
Selvi Evangelin Nisha C anchored school first with 493/500 and a centum in Science.
Master Kevin Raj E bound second place with 490/500 and also a centum in science.

During the academic year 2025-2026 our students enthusiastically participated in various sports competitions.
Our students participated in the zonal level athletic meet which was held at St. Antony’s higher sec school, Manjampatty on 29.7.25. In this event under 17 boys and girls achieved 2nd place in Basket Ball and under 14 boys won 1st place in basketball and participated in District level. Under 14 boys created a new meet record and got zonal runner up.
The district level athletic meet was held at Anna Stadium, Trichy on 18.08.2025. In under 14 boys category Master V. Devesh, secured first place in long jump, Master Mohamed Yasin, got first in shot put. Our boys Master V. Devesh, Master S. Nishanthan, Master S. Mohamed Sahid Musharaf, Master A. Danal Haider and Master S. Guruprasath got the first place in under14 in 4 x 100-meters relay. We also achieved 2nd aplace in Under 17 and under 19 boys in 4 x 100-meters relay under the guidance of our PET Master Mr. Vinothkumar.
The state level athletic meet was held at Annai Sathya Stadium, Tanjore on 01. 11.2025. We pompously inform you that our student Master V. Devesh of Standard IX brought laurels to our school by achieving first place in long jump and 4 x 100 meters relay in under 14 category and qualified for the National level.
Master V. Devesh, of our school has participated in the national level athletic competition held at Indoor, Madhya Pradesh and placed 11th position in all India Level.
IBFF power lifting division organized world cup 2025 at Pattaya in Thailand. In SBD event under 60 kg weight category, our school Eleventh standard student master Dickson Raj won first place and brought commendation to our school.
We happily say that in our school, there are many curricular and co-curricular activities conducted for all the classes. Notably this year our students have participated in province level quiz competition competing with various institution in our province and secured III place.
To know oneself, to enhance the confidence of our school students, we organized motivational and career guidance programs periodically to standard X, XI & XII students.
Dr. Arul Rayan, Educational Psychologist gave a seminar for 10th students to strengthen their mental health and problem solving ability through various activities.
Mr. Mahendran, Director and corporate relator trained our higher class students in robotics which made our students to think divergently in the field of science.
Dr. Victor Susai Irudayaraj, the Associate Dean of SRM group of Institutions, Trichy Campus, hosted a career guidance program to make aware of XII standard students about the choice of courses after XII standard.

The province level staff seminar was authored by Dr. Paulraj OFM, Cap. the primary agenda was deliberation on integrating Artificial intelligence into the educational process. Emphasizing that AI should serve as a powerful copilot not a replacement for human educators. He stressed upon “The Importance of Human Touch in a Digital Class Room” for specific discipline with a contemporary digital pedagogical environment.
Around 250 faculty members and principals of various institutions actively engaged in the seminar organized by Trichy province education commission.

Respected Rev. Bro. John Britto, SG., the Provincial Superior of Brothers of St. Gabriel, Trichy Province had an official visit to our school and stimulated the young minds. He lauded our school principal, staff and students for maintaining the standards of Montfortian education with his catchy anecdote.

It was a moment of great pride and honour for us to welcome our
respected Asst. General Rev. Bro. Varghees Mandapathil, S.G., from
Rome to assess the prospective among the students, teachers and
administration. His interaction with higher class students motivated,
strengthened and renewed the learning spirit. He addressed the staff in
the evening and gave valuable guidance that the teachers are the
spiritual parents and seed of hope.
The 78th Independence day commemoration was executed with resplendent patriotic flair and vibrant embellishments on August 15. The proceedings were started with a solemn flag hoisting ceremony officiated by a distinguished academician Mr. Pavunraj. Cohesive march past by our NCC Troops, patriotic dance performance and cultural events done by Std IX Students were the highlight of show. The remarkable day ended with sweet distribution.

“Teachers day was orchestrated and well organized by the XII standard
students along with SPLs, ASPLs and House Captains and Vice
Captains in the concept of “Marvelous Mind Makers Day”. The agenda
commenced with variety of dances, engaging activities, fun games, lucky
draw and portrayed to Dr. Radhakrishnan and ended with mementos
as the expression of gratitude. Students organized various games in the
afternoon for staff which brought entire attraction to the audience.

Our school commemorated children’s day with a distinguished display
of splendor.
The festivities were marked by high degree of
organizational excellence, blending traditional heritage with modern
enthusiasm.
The inaugural ceremony featured pupils from grades 1 to 5 portrayed
the legendry first prime minister of India Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. The
students participated in a stately processional march that formally
initiated the day’s events from the main entrance.
The day was enriched by an array of intellectually stimulating and
recreational pursuits such as Bharatham, Oyilattam, Kolattam and
contemporary fusion for the attendees a serendipitous highlight
occurred when the teachers surprised the students with impromptu
and enthralling performance.
The celebration culminated in an atmosphere of profound joy with fun
games and lucky draw for all students. As a token of mutual
appreciation, sweets were distributed leaving the students with
cherished memories.

During this unique festival of light, students from grade 4th and 8th
greeted the esteemed principal through an act of involving light. The
inaugural segment of the light-themed event commenced with the
ceremonial lamp lighting performed by beloved principal, teachers and
ASPLs.
Lamp dance, prayer for global humanity and ecofriendly deevali
program captivated the entire audience. Finally, our principal
addressed the gathering and gave away the sweets.
Christmas is a season of joy, love, caring, sharing, focusing on
togetherness. The greatest gifted day of 6th December 2025 we
celebrated Christmas celebration in our school in order to make our
students feel what is about this festival and show love, sharing and
caring upon their neighbours, friends and others. The students enacted
a skit on traditional Christmas and modern Christmas. Rev Fr.
Sagayadasan, CR., was our chief guest and in his address he quoted
about sending Christmas greeting cards in his student hood days and
he highlighted God’s sacrifice and taking care of other people.
On 23rd evening of December Christmas celebration was differently
celebrated among the teachers community with prayer service, carols,
dances, fun games and skit. The occasion was grandly ended with
sharing of gifts and sumptuous.
Pongal is the Celebration of Thankfulness Nurturing the Happiness with
Kith and kin’’
This year Pongal celebration was held in a different and interesting
manner. On 13.01.2026 the children from Classes LKG to XII were
asked to come to school with traditional dresses and no books. We
celebrated Samathuva Pongal and it was distributed in a well-organized
manner. The colourful event was graced with cultural programs.
Birthday celebration of teachers for every month is meticulously
celebrated in a beautiful way. The event is fostered a sense of unity and
appreciation among the faculties. The birthday cake has been cut by
the birthday celebrants at the end of every month. A memorable gift is
given to the celebrants by our Principal as a token of gratitude and
respect.
This year we colourfully celebrate all our students’ birthday in the
assembly. As a token of wishes Rev. Bro. Principal gives away some gifts
to the birthday celebrants.

Colours day celebration with the theme of colours are the smiles of the
nature, was joyfully observed in KG classes. To enhance the event, both
the students and teachers attired in matching outfits.
The taste of fresh fruits and adopting good health in daily lives, the
fruits day was grandly organized for the classes LKG and UKG.
Food feast was organized for the 2nd standard students to promote the
values and importance of our traditional and nutritional food.
Today’s accomplishments are yesterday’s impossibilities.
We believe that early education plays a vital role in shaping a child’s
future. We celebrated graduation day for our UKG kids to exit a new
learning adventure. The best part of the ceremony was phonics
rampwalk and imitation of animals sounds by our kids. As our young
graduates step into grade one, our chief guest Dr. C. Balaji, MBBS.,
greeted them success, curiosity and the courage to dream big.

Fancy dress event was relied solely on kinetic expression and physical
gestures. Following the showcases, commendations were bestowed
upon the victorious entrants across all categories. The entire show was
executed by the students of grade LKG to V with tremendous zeal,
featuring a plethora of inventive outfits and displays.

Grade LKG and UKG have interestingly participated in rhymes
recitation. Their gestures and babbling language were appreciated by
the gathering.
Our Montfort Matric Hr. Sec. School’s prime aim of imparting education

The National cadet corps focuses on youth development, molding
character, guiding the principle of unity and discipline. During the
2025-2026 academic 25 cadets underwent training at Periyar
Maniyammai Institute of Science and Technology, Vallam, Tanjore led
by Mr. S. Victor Kulandai Raj, the first officer whose constant
encouragement spurred students toward extensive extracurricular
engagement. Notably, a standout participant flying cadet Rakshana was
immersed herself in numerous campus, including 2TN, AIR SQA (TECH)
at Trichy. CATC, CUM, GP, RDC at Karaikudi and Kumbakonam, IGC,
RDC at Madurai. Under the expert mentorship of a skilled
commanders, the cadet distinguished herself in variety of events and
contests.
The public spirited Scout and Guide Students attended a camp held at St. Antony’s Higher Secondary School, Manjampatty. They acquired knowledge ceremonial flag song and various knot tying techniques in the camp.
With the Motto of health, service and friendship, our students attended JRC camp at Indira Ganesan College, Trichy. They learnt about first aid and fire safety measures under the guidance of Mrs. Josephine Sahayarani.
To build essential life skills like leadership, teamwork and communication while fostering interests and boosting confidence, through shared passions, unique experiences, and a stronger sense of belonging, we engage club activities such as Eco Club, NGC Club, Maths Club, Science Club, Quiz Club and Social Club twice in a month to exhibit their hidden talents through various activities. 0

In the evening our skilled PET masters Mr. Arockia Sahayaraj G, Mr.
Radhakrishnan A and Mr. Vinoth Kumar A spend their valuable time to
train the students in Track Events, Long Jump, Discus, Javelin, Basketball
and Volleyball to ensure their physical fitness and explore in the field of
sports.
Primary students are practicing in an extensive phonic sounds to initiate, design and mitigate the disparity between spoken and written communication through 44 fundamental English Phonemes. Students gain the independence to sound out unfamiliar words rather than visual guessing from our expertise.

Grade I to V are given training to improve their cognitive skill, problem
solving, creative thinking by learning abacus which enhances math
mastery from our well trained teachers.

Our X, XI & XII standard students along with their teachers had their
educational tour to highlight that learning happens through experiences,
broadening perspectives and personal growth. In the first day we visited
historical place of Mysore Palace, Zoological Park and Brindavan Garden.
Next day we visited Chamundeeswari Temple, The Golden Temple,
Bamboo Forest and Abi Falls. This trip was marked as an unforgettable day
with everlasting memories.

Our students participated in Kalam Kanavugal, Science Exhibition held at
Indira Ganesan College of Engineering College, Trichy. We happily
announce that our students were awarded with 1000/- cash for their
innovation in the field of sensors.
Master N. Gokul and Selvi C. Evangeline Nisha of XI-A exhibited their
working model on HOUSE FIRE DETECTING WITH LPG SENSING and won
Rs.10,000/- cash award in the district level inter school competitions held
at Care Engineering College, Trichy.
